Davidson is partnering with a leading Australian digital organisation to appoint a Senior Project Manager into a high-impact transformation role sitting at the centre of a major data and analytics uplift.
This is a great opportunity for a senior delivery leader who understands how to drive complex programs in data-rich environments — someone who can work across technical teams and business leaders, connect delivery to commercial outcomes and bring structure to a broad portfolio of work already moving into execution.
You’ll join a strategic program focused on improving how data is managed, scaled, accessed and translated into better decision-making across the organisation. With multiple streams in play, this role is about creating momentum, driving alignment and helping teams turn opportunity into measurable value.
The role
You will lead delivery across a portfolio of data and analytics initiatives, working across a mix of uplift, optimisation and enablement streams. These initiatives are designed to improve the way data solutions are developed, governed, embedded and used across the business.
Rather than being purely technical, this role sits at the in t ersection of data, delivery and business value. It re quires someone who can engage deeply with data and analytics teams while also confidently partnering with senior business stakeholders to drive priorities, outcomes and adoption.
What you’ll be doing

Driving delivery across multiple concurrent data and analytics initiatives

Coordinating program planning, execution, governance and reporting

Bringing together data teams, analytics leaders and business stakeholders to align priorities and manage dependencies

Supporting initiatives focused on scaling data capability, improving productivity and lifting the value delivered through data

Translating complex delivery activity into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders

Managing risks, issues, interdependencies and competing priorities across a multi-stream program

Helping move work from planning and uplift design into practical execution and measurable impact
What we’re looking for
-
Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager role within complex enterprise environments

Strong track record delivering data, analytics, technology or digital transformation initiatives

Ability to manage multiple workstreams across different stages of delivery

Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and building credibility quickly across both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong delivery discipline across governance, planning, reporting, risk and dependency management
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and keep people aligned

A commercially minded, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity
Ideally, you’ll also bring

Experience working in data and analytics environments

Exposure to initiatives involving data platforms, governance, metadata, AI or productivity uplift

An understanding of how to drive business outcomes in organisations with distributed or cross-functional data teams
