About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering complex business transformation initiatives that translate strategic intent into disciplined execution. Working closely with senior leaders and program sponsors, you will establish clear governance, foster strong stakeholder engagement, and maintain accountability for outcomes that matter.
This is not a technical IT project management role. We are looking for accomplished business transformation Project Managers who are confident operating at senior levels of an organisation—facilitating decisions, managing delivery plans, and guiding people through meaningful change. You will balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, bringing judgement, credibility and calm leadership to complex, people‑centred initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex business transformation initiatives
- Partner closely with senior leaders and sponsors to shape scope, priorities and outcomes
- Establish strong governance, reporting and risk management practices
- Drive stakeholder engagement and change adoption across diverse groups
- Manage schedules, budgets, risks, issues and interdependencies to ensure successful outcomes
About You
- Significant experience delivering complex business transformation initiatives, with a proven track record of successful program delivery
- Formal project management qualifications and a strong foundation in structured delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leaders, sponsors and varied stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust, manage complexity and align people around shared goals
- Experience in the insurance, health and disability, or government sector is highly regarded
- Experience delivering procurement‑related projects is also highly regarded
