We are seeking an experienced Project Development Manager to lead the planning and coordination of large-scale infrastructure projects through their development phase. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to scope, schedule, and budget while meeting regulatory requirements and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
As Project Development Manager, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage procurement and contracts, and ensure seamless coordination across engineering, environmental, and regulatory streams. You will play a key role in guiding project approvals, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and setting projects up for successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and monitoring project development activities and team coordination
- Managing procurement processes, contracts, schedules, and budgets
- Securing approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinating with engineering, environmental, and construction teams
- Managing stakeholder engagement across government, industry, and communities
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project development or management, ideally within transmission, renewable energy, or major linear infrastructure projects
- Strong background in electrical engineering or the ability to interpret technical requirements
- Proven experience securing approvals, permits, and navigating regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
