About the Role
We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a Project Development Manager, who will be responsible for the coordination of required teams for the progress of the Project, as well as coordination of the other Development team members. The Project Development Manager role is to plan, coordinate, and ensure that development works are carried out on time and in compliance with current regulations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Effectively plan and monitor project development and the distribution of tasks within the team.
- Actively engage in the procurement processes for preparation of documentation, evaluation, placement and management.
- Conduct progress, co-ordination and interface meetings with the team, client and contractors
- Support the administration of contracts and contractors’ work and schedules, to ensure objectives are met and compliance is maintained
- Support the management and control of the project delivery plan, schedule, work breakdown structure tasks and resource requirements against the Project timeline.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have excellent experience as a Project Development Manager or Project Manager, ideally within transmission or renewable energy projects. You will be adept at managing multidisciplinary teams and activities, and enjoy playing a cross-functional role focused on planning, communication and relationship management. You will have a background in electrical engineering, with the ability to understand various design phases and high-level technical information. Experience with TNSPs is highly valued, as is experience registering renewable energy connections to the NEM. You have a strong understanding of the regulatory environment, and excellent negotiation and influencing skills that will see you succeed in driving the project forward.
