The Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions Team design and deliver service infrastructure in response to population growth, climate change and strategic ambitions, bringing economic, social and environmental value through actions with customers, communities and partners.

The Growth and Planning team within SIS is now recruiting for a Project Development Lead – Networks, responsible for the effective scoping and development of solution requirements for capital projects aligned to the achievement of the servicing strategy and strategic ambitions.

Reporting to the Sustainable Project Development Manager, this role works in collaboration with other Growth and Planning teams to facilitate cogent and evidence- based commercial, economic and strategic advice to inform the Asset Prioritisation Group (APG) decision making.

You will be the subject matter expert, to collaboratively develop water network projects with key stakeholders within the planning function to ensure a pipeline of defined capital investment needs and opportunities are readily available for bundling and prioritisation by the APG.

The role requires strong engagement, shaping clear reporting and driving informed decision-making, while also working closely with delivery partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders to integrate delivery.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced water industry leader with a strong track record developing and delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, and strong knowledge of water supply and sewerage network assets including pumping systems, reservoirs, pipelines and ancillary structures.

Formal qualifications in engineering and project management and proven experience in the delivery of capital infrastructure will contribute to success in this role. Experience working within collaborative partnership models will be very well regarded.
