About the Role

As Program Manager (Infrastructure Capability & Improvement), you will establish and lead a dedicated function focused on strengthening project delivery maturity, consistency, and performance. Sitting within the Infrastructure Services Division’s Portfolio Management Office, this key leadership role drives the implementation of best-practice methodologies, continuous improvement initiatives, and professional development across infrastructure project teams.

You will guide the development of frameworks, tools, and governance standards; lead lessons learned and knowledge management processes; and enable a culture of delivery excellence. Acting as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, your work will directly influence improved outcomes across a diverse and high-impact infrastructure portfolio.

About You

You are an experienced PMO or program leader with deep expertise in infrastructure, capital works, or asset-intensive environments. Your background includes standing up or enhancing capability uplift functions, embedding project delivery methodologies, and influencing senior stakeholders.

You bring:

  • Proven experience leading portfolio management or improvement programs
  • Strong command of frameworks such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP, or P3M3
  • High-level analytical, facilitation, and communication skills
  • A strategic mindset with a collaborative and outcome-focused leadership style

Government or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded, as will relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications.
