Davidson is proud to be partnering with a well-regarded public sector organisation embarking on a high-impact transformation program. Backed by executive leadership, this project is entering a crucial delivery phase aimed at stabilising and rethinking how the organisation services customers.

This is a strategic uplift project – not just tech implementation – with a clear goal: build a cohesive, customer-centred, end-to-end solution that replaces fragmented legacy systems and brings clarity and performance across the entire billing lifecycle.

About the Role
This is a foundational leadership role within an integrated, multi-threaded program structure. As Program Manager you will lead a billings system transformation

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the program across business, operations, and customer service outcomes , not just tech delivery.
  • Defining and owning the end-to-end vision for billing and customer care, and shaping what “good” looks like.
  • Driving the stabilisation and remediation of critical systems and processes.
  • Coordinating across multiple workstreams - including data and reporting, business capability uplift, and service optimisation.
  • Delivering a compelling business case and executing against its roadmap.
  • Navigating legacy system complexity and marshalling the right technical and functional resources to succeed.
  • Translating program review outcomes into real delivery milestones.

About You
You’re a proven Program Manager with deep experience driving customer-facing service transformation. You thrive in ambiguity, lead with clarity, and enjoy pulling order from complexity.

You will bring:

  • A strategic mindset paired with sharp execution capability, you see the whole picture, and know how to deliver it.
  • *Must have experience in transforming billing systems or operations
  • A strong grasp of both business process and technology delivery, you understand how tech enables service, but you’re not confined to technical workstreams.
  • A confident and engaging leadership style with experience leading diverse stakeholders, managing reviews, and converting recommendations into real outcomes.
  • A genuine passion for fixing foundations, building capability, and improving the customer journey
