Davidson Technology are working with a large State Government Department to secure a highly skilled Program Delivery Lead to provide leadership, direction, integration and delivery oversight across the HCMS program.


About the Role

As the Program Delivery Lead (HCMS), you will provide strategic leadership and oversight across all workstreams within the Human Capital Management System (HCMS) Program, ensuring the successful delivery of agreed business outcomes, milestones, budgets and benefits. You will lead and mentor Senior Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and accountable culture while ensuring delivery remains aligned with strategic objectives. You will be accountable for program governance, delivery planning, risk and issue management, executive reporting and the timely resolution of complex delivery challenges to maintain program momentum. Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will provide trusted advice, delivery forecasts and strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making, while ensuring robust program controls, quality outcomes and the successful realisation of organisational benefits.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience delivering large-scale Human Capital Management and payroll transformation programs within government or other highly regulated environments, with a strong understanding of cloud-based HR solutions, particularly SAP SuccessFactors. You will have deep expertise in payroll delivery, including legislative and industrial compliance, award interpretation, complex pay rules, payroll testing and parallel pay runs, combined with a proven ability to establish robust governance frameworks, lead multidisciplinary teams and manage program budgets, reporting and delivery. Your exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills will enable you to build trusted relationships, influence senior executives and navigate complex organisational environments, while your strategic mindset will ensure you balance long-term program objectives with immediate delivery priorities. Prince2 or equivalent Project Management certification, together with SAP SuccessFactors or related HRIS certification, will be highly regarded, as will your ability to demonstrate a strong track record against the key selection criteria, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and readiness to commence within the required timeframe.


The Benefits

You will be offered a 12-month contract (possible extension) on an excellent daily rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment.
