About the Opportunity
Given the scope and scale of the major projects that this NSW Government Agency is embarked upon, the role of the Procurement Team is absolutely key to achieving success. You will join the Procurement function to enable business process and sourcing excellence.
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for operational sourcing and will provide accurate and timely processing of Purchase orders, conducting sourcing activities (using Beeline/Guided Buy/ARIBA) and assisting the business with procurement advice. Working closely with teams across Finance and Procurement Services, Solution Centre and the Centre of Excellence, you will have an opportunity to contribute to high levels of service to customers, facilitate process improvement and be a part of a dynamic team keen to make a difference.
About You
You will have experience working as a Procurement Officer, Sourcing Specialist or similar. Ariba/SAP exposure is highly desirable as is procure-to-pay / P2P operations. Candidates must have experience managing goods and services sourcing events, i.e writing and drafting Rfqs/Rfps and drafting contracts.
You will be comfortable and confident in dealing with stakeholders and have a customer focused approach as well as the motivation to solve problems and resolve issues.
