About the Role
As Procurement Specialist you will take full ownership of the source-to-contract activities. This will include detailed spend analysis and review of the supplier landscape; managing tender processes and supplier selection including contract negotiation whilst partnering with successful vendors to ensure strong supplier relations.
In short, You will have an end-to-end procurement role responsible for a major industrial spend category for this business. This opportunity is an excellent stepping stone towards a Category Manager skill-set.
About You
You will have a track record of achievement having worked as a Procurement Coordinator, Procurement Specialist, Sourcing Officer or similar. You will be keen to develop your procurement skill-set and passionate about owning your category of spend.
Procurement applicants who have an industrial, manufacturing or production background having sourced chemicals, paint, varnish, resins, paper, packaging, ppe, or safety equipment would be warmly encouraged to apply.
