About the Opportunity

As part of a company-wide strategic transformation, with focus on continued future success, this is an exciting opportunity to join a greenfield procurement function working for an inspiring procurement head who is an absolute subject matter expert in the industry.

You will be responsible for the supporting the development and execution of sourcing strategies across assigned spend areas. This role provides analytical, administrative and operational support to the Category Manager, ensuring procurement activity aligns with business objectives.

This role contributes to the efficient delivery of procurement projects, maintains supplier and contract records whilst driving value outcomes, compliance and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

In short, you will support the delivery of procurement category plans, provide detailed market analysis and insights on the supplier landscape, compile spend analysis reports to support the tender process and submission evaluation whilst ensuring databases and documentation are capture accurately.

Is this You?

You will be an experienced Procurement Coordinator, Procurement Analyst, Strategic Sourcing Officer or similar with a proven track-record of achievement having supported your procurement team with a diverse range of projects and responsibilities.

This role requires you to be both analytical and commercial. You will be comfortable managing a number of competing projects and adept at providing crisp insights to support your findings. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders and deliver fact based, data driven findings.

In short, you will be a honed analyst with strong appreciation of procurement practices, contract administration and supplier management tools who can support end-to-end, source-to-contract, category management flow processes.

Proficiency in ERP and data tools including JD Edwards (or similar), Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, as well as data visualization packages, Power BI, Word and PowerPoint for example, would be extremely desirable.
