Reporting to the Manager City Strategy, you will have the ability to be involved in transformational projects, including the planning and facilitation of the Cobblebank Metropolitan Activity Centre, while driving key partnerships with government agencies, the development industry, community and service providers. This role will lead stakeholder engagement, negotiate and manage relationships to achieve quality land use and community outcomes, and guide Council’s involvement in significant private sector developments. The successful candidate will influence strategic planning decisions aligned with the Council and Wellbeing Plan, provide expert advice on site acquisition and development, conduct due diligence, and prepare high-level submissions on State Government policies and initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you will bring strong experience in property and land-use management, supported by solid knowledge of strategic planning and the challenges of growth areas. You will pair technical capability with excellent stakeholder skills, acting as the key point of contact for strategic partnerships across external bodies.
