Due to continued growth across South Australia, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join the Adelaide team.
About the Opportunity
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished Civil Engineer seeking more than traditional project delivery.
Working across transport, rail, defence, energy, land development and water infrastructure projects, you will lead multidisciplinary project teams, strengthen client relationships, drive business development activities and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
You will have genuine autonomy to lead projects from inception through to delivery while playing a key role in shaping the future direction of the business within South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from planning through to detailed design and delivery
- Manage project performance including technical quality, budgets, schedules and design governance
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships across government and private sector organisations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and manage key project interfaces and risks
- Support business development activities including opportunity identification, proposals and tender submissions
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and professional development support to engineering teams
- Drive a culture of safety, quality and project delivery excellence
About You
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer with extensive experience delivering transport and civil infrastructure projects
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent highly regarded
- 10+ years of experience delivering multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
- Strong technical expertise across civil engineering design and project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior client relationships
- Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers
- Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
