Davidson is partnering with a major organisation in the banking and financial services domain to support an uplift of their enterprise collections capabilities. You’ll be joining a high-performing team responsible for designing, enhancing, and optimising a critical PowerCurve Collections platform that underpins large-scale credit operations. This role offers the opportunity to influence technical design, improve customer outcomes, and contribute to a strategic transformation program.
About the role
As the PowerCurve Collections (PCC) SME, you will play a key role in designing and developing complex collections workflows and strategies within PCC 2.x. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to convert business requirements into scalable, high-quality PCC solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the design, configuration, and development of Collections strategies in PowerCurve Collections 2.x Design Studio.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs within an Agile delivery environment.
- Develop and enhance PCC components, including SPA Widgets, Decisioning, Strategies, Groovy Scripts, and Batch Processes.
- Optimise PCC integrations by leveraging Oracle SQL / T-SQL and standard PCC integration methods.
- Support configuration and troubleshooting of LDAP, SSO, connectivity, and Jasper Reports.
- Work closely with collections operations, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and platform stability.
- Provide SME guidance across the project lifecycle—design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
About you
You will be an experienced PowerCurve Collections specialist with a deep understanding of financial services collections processes and the technical underpinnings of PCC.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years of hands-on design and development experience in PowerCurve Collections (PCC) 2.x Design Studio.
- Strong understanding of banking and finance collections workflows, strategies, and operational processes.
- Expertise in SPA Widgets, Decisioning, Strategies, Groovy scripting, Jasper configuration, and batch processing.
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle SQL / T-SQL) and experience supporting PCC integrations.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, and connectivity methods (preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and provide clear SME guidance.
