About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Compliance, the Policy Governance Implementation Lead will drive the implementation and embedding of a centralised, streamlined and fit-for-purpose Policy Governance Framework.
You will work closely with policy owners, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to review and uplift existing policies, procedures, standards and supporting governance documentation, improving consistency, quality and usability across the organisation.
The role will establish quality assurance processes, provide policy governance advice and support policy owners in adopting new framework requirements and governance standards.
You will also lead communications, training and stakeholder engagement activities to drive adoption and embed policy governance practices into business as usual. This includes supporting enabling technology solutions, monitoring project milestones and providing reporting to key stakeholders.
About You
- You are an experienced policy governance professional with demonstrated success implementing governance frameworks and leading policy uplift initiatives within complex corporate environments.
- You will bring experience reviewing and improving policies, procedures, standards and supporting governance documentation, with exposure to investment management, financial services or similarly complex environments highly regarded.
- An accomplished communicator and stakeholder manager, you can simplify complex information, provide practical guidance and build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, you bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities through to completion.
- Formal tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or law are preferred, or you will bring relevant equivalent experience.
