With a strong existing presence in Bellarine Village, Community Care Chemist is seeking a Pharmacy Manager who can build on this foundation — leading the team, driving performance and shaping the pharmacy’s next phase of growth.
About the Role
As the Pharmacy Manager, you’ll take ownership of daily operations and lead the ongoing growth of the Bellarine Village pharmacy. You’ll focus on operational excellence, business performance, and fostering a customer-first, values-driven team culture. You’ll also serve as a community connector, strengthening engagement with local health providers, residents and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
Business & Operations - Oversee day-to-day operations
- Drive prescription growth, health service delivery, and retail performance
- Collaborate with leadership to build on a local business strategy aligned to the community’s needs
People & Culture - Build and lead a cohesive team grounded in connection, respect, energy, and accountability
- Manage recruitment, training, and development of pharmacy staff
- Foster a culture of coaching, continuous improvement, and customer care
Community Engagement - Grow trusted relationships with local GPs, allied health, and community organisations
- Actively promote and participate in community health initiatives
- Be a visible, approachable leader in-store
Compliance & Clinical Governance - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and compliance requirements
- Manage dispensing protocols, inventory controls, and service delivery
- Identify and mitigate operational risks proactively

About You - Registered Pharmacist (AHPRA) with a pharmacy degree
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting
- Strong commercial awareness and customer service orientation
- Community-minded with a collaborative, hands-on leadership style
- Effective communicator and cultural role model
