As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a dedicated People & Culture Officer to join their high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal, standalone role where you will shape and drive HR initiatives across the firm.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering full-scope HR generalist support across all areas of the employee lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, you will play a vital role in embedding best practices, supporting engagement, and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, and offboarding.
- Providing pragmatic advice to managers on employee relations, HR policy, and workplace legislation.
- Coordinating cultural initiatives, wellness activities, and employee engagement programs.
- Maintaining and developing HR documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Supporting remuneration reviews, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Overseeing workplace health and safety compliance and initiatives.
- Acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on operational support.
About You
You are a skilled HR generalist with the confidence and capability to work autonomously, backed by strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills. You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a standalone or end-to-end HR generalist role.
- A sound understanding of Australian employment legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- The ability to work across both strategic and day-to-day HR tasks with professionalism and initiative.
- Previous experience in a professional services or legal environment (highly advantageous).
