About the Role
This role will lead the full range of HR generalist responsibilities, while also playing a key part in the internal change stream of a major core banking transformation.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders to support shifts in structure, roles, capability and ways of working - helping staff feel informed, supported and confident as the business moves towards a more digital future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading HR generalist functions including employee relations, performance, development and workforce planning.
- Partnering with leaders to build capability, engagement and accountability.
- Supporting change management activities, communications and workforce impacts.
- Reviewing and enhancing HR processes to ensure they are contemporary and fit for purpose.
- Using people data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Providing calm, steady and practical HR advice across the organisation.
About You
- Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HRBP role.
- Experience supporting significant organisational change, ideally within financial services, insurance, mutuals, or other member/customer-centric environments.
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices, employment law and change principles.
- Able to balance empathy with commercial decision-making.
- Adaptable, hands-on, steady under pressure and able to build trust quickly.
