Davidson is partnering with a respected national organisation to recruit a People & Culture Coordinator who enjoys the operational side of HR and takes pride in delivering high-quality support across people systems, training, workplace culture and employee experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative HR team where you'll gain exposure across a wide range of People & Culture activities while working closely with an experienced HR leader.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, you'll play an important role supporting day-to-day HR operations across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Organising internal training programs and maintaining training records
  • Supporting Workplace Health & Safety administration and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate employee information within the HRIS (Humanforce)
  • Producing HR reports and supporting HR data integrity
  • Assisting with onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
  • Supporting recruitment administration when required
  • Contributing to HR policies, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives

About you

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management (or a related discipline)
  • A minimum of 9 months demonstrated experience working within an Australian HR environment
  • Exposure across the employee lifecycle and a sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work principles
  • Experience using HRIS platforms and confidence learning new systems (Humanforce experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team; and
  • Ideally available for an immediate start
