People & Culture Business Partner

Human Resources & Recruitment

About the Company

For over 60 years, our client has built a strong reputation across South East Queensland for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and a genuinely people-first culture.

With approximately 180 employees across multiple trade and operational divisions, this business has become a highly respected name within the market and is now entering an exciting new phase of growth following acquisition by a private equity backed group with ambitious expansion plans.

Despite the growth agenda, preserving and evolving the strong culture already built within the business remains critically important.

This is a business where:

  • people genuinely enjoy coming to work
  • leaders are highly visible and hands-on
  • culture matters
  • and employees are encouraged to build long-term careers.

As the business continues to grow, Fallon is now seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to help shape the next phase of its people strategy and organisational capability.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a highly visible and commercially aligned People & Culture leadership role supporting a workforce of approximately 180 employees across:

  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • HVAC
  • Appliances
  • Customer Service
  • Operational support teams

This role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities and will play a key role in helping the business scale successfully during an exciting period of growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Workforce planning and recruitment
  • Employee & Industrial Relations
  • Performance management and capability frameworks
  • Payroll governance oversight
  • Leadership coaching and support
  • Workforce compliance and contractor governance
  • Return to Work and injury management oversight
  • Culture and engagement initiatives

Importantly, this role offers the opportunity to build and evolve scalable People & Culture frameworks while partnering closely with leadership to support future growth and acquisition activity.

For the right person, there is genuine long-term opportunity for the role to expand as the broader business continues to grow.

  • Genuine career growth aligned to business growth
