Our client is a large, values-driven, public sector organisation operating in a complex, unionised and volunteer-supported environment. The organisation plays a critical role in supporting communities across Victoria and works closely with government and operational stakeholders to deliver essential services.

About the Role

  • Manage end-to-end workplace relations cases including grievances, misconduct, investigations and disciplinary matters
  • Provide practical P&C and ER advice to managers, employees and volunteers
  • Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, legislation and internal policies
  • Coordinate workplace investigations and oversee case lifecycles and documentation
  • Draft correspondence, investigation materials and WR documentation
  • Support a busy team during a period of increased workload and capacity gaps

About You

  • Proven experience in workplace relations or employee relations roles
  • Strong hands-on case management capability in complex environments
  • Confident managing sensitive and high-risk matters independently
  • Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements in a unionised setting
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Background in public sector, volunteer-based or unionised organisations highly regarded
