Payroll Specialist

About the Company

Our client is large investment and management company with a proud record of continued success and portfolio growth. Due to their ongoing development, they are adding to their team with the newly created role of Payroll Specialist. This is a part-time position of approximately 25 hours per week, worked over four or five days.

We can offer –
· A stable company with an inclusive culture and low staff turnover
· $85 000 per annum plus superannuation (that’s $64.00 per hour plus super!)
· A 5% annual bonus
· 2 days per week working from home


About the Role

As the Payroll Specialist, you will work in a small payroll team, supporting the Payroll Manager.
· Timely and accurate payroll processing, including pay runs
· Responding to escalated payroll enquiries
· Interpretation of Awards and Agreements
· Compliance and reporting
· Reconciliations and complex calculations
· EOM and EOFY responsibilities
· Payroll projects including enhancements to systems and workflows
· Act as 2IC in the manager’s absence


About You

You will need,
· End-to-end payroll processing experience in a senior capacity in a large organisation
· The ability to understand and explain complex payroll concepts
· Knowledge of payroll-related legislation
· A compliance focus
· The ability to problem-solve with a pro-active and business-partnering manner
