Due to continued growth, an additional Payroll Officer is being added to the team, giving you the opportunity to work alongside experienced payroll professionals while managing payroll processing for a large, dynamic workforce.
About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit team of three, you'll play a key role in the end-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls for approximately 1,000 employees. You'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while delivering a high level of customer service to both internal stakeholders and employees.
Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls
- Processing and validating timesheets
- Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and managers
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Superannuation administration
- Maintaining accurate employee payroll records
- Assisting with payroll compliance and legislative requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across payroll processes
- Working collaboratively with the broader payroll team to meet payroll deadlines

Working Hours
- Monday & Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
About You
To be successful, you'll have previous experience processing end-to-end payroll and be confident managing high-volume workloads while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience in a Payroll Officer position
- Experience processing high-volume payrolls
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation and payroll compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines within a team environment
