This position can be offered full-time or part-time.

About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position will see you responsible for the accurate end-to-end processing of the organisation’s fortnightly payroll while working closely with HR and finance to ensure compliance and accuracy across all payroll activities. If your preference is for full-time hours, then your responsibilities will also include ad-hoc support across the broader finance team in payables and receivables.

  • Administer the end-to-end processing of company payroll on a fortnightly basis
  • Ensure maintenance of the payroll system and employee self-service portal
  • Update and maintain payroll records
  • Liaise with staff and management regarding payroll related queries
  • Apply awards, agreements and contracts including overtime and shift allowances
  • Review staff changes between HR and payroll prior to processing each pay run
  • Provide guidance to staff regarding payroll processes, policies and system navigation
  • Ad-hoc support in payables and receivables

About You

You are an experienced accounts professional with payroll experience who understands that payroll is one of those functions where accuracy and consistency matter every single time. You are comfortable liaising with both staff and managers to resolve queries and have a high level of attention to detail.
