An exciting opportunity is available for a Payroll Officer to join a large, well‑established global organisation operating in a complex and highly regulated environment.
This role is open to both full‑time and part‑time candidates (3 days per week or more), making it ideal for payroll professionals seeking flexibility without compromising on career development or exposure to a large‑scale payroll function.
About the role
Working as part of a supportive and knowledgeable payroll team, you will assist with end‑to‑end payroll processing while providing a high level of service to employees and internal stakeholders. The team manages payroll for a sizeable workforce, offering excellent exposure and learning opportunities.
Candidates with experience in mid to large payroll environments will be well suited, however the organisation is also open to applicants from smaller payroll settings who demonstrate the right attitude, aptitude and willingness to learn. Training and development will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting end‑to‑end payroll processing for a large employee population
- Maintaining accurate payroll records including employee changes
- Responding to payroll enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with compliance obligations such as superannuation and reporting
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries
- Contributing to continuous improvement within payroll processes
About you
- Ideally two years’ payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
- OR experience in a smaller payroll environment with strong potential and a desire to upskill
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Strong communication skills and a service‑focused approach
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a team environment
