About the Role
This 12-month fixed-term position sits within a large team and reports to the Payroll Manager. You’ll be responsible for the accurate processing of payroll within a medium-to-large, multi-award environment. This includes maintaining payroll data, calculating entitlements and terminations, resolving queries, preparing reports and supporting compliance with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements and internal policies.
You’ll also play a key role in customer service, continuous improvement and supporting colleagues with payroll knowledge, systems and processes.

About You
- Payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation
- Understanding of legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
- Experience using an automated payroll system (Aurion, Chris21, SAP, Kronos or similar)
- Confident handling payroll queries and delivering accurate outcomes under deadlines
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills and a team mindset
- Ability to gain a National Police Check
