Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? Our client, a global leader in servicing the mining industry, is seeking a full-function Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team in Mansfield.


About the Role

As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 120 employees on a weekly basis. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, confidentiality, and a strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with Awards and Agreements
  • Handle payroll queries and liaise with internal departments
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with superannuation, tax, and other statutory obligations


About You

  • Proven experience in full-function payroll (preferably in a similar-sized workforce)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
