Our Client:
A major Queensland government department leading digital transformation in education and workforce management.
The Role:
Responsibilities:
- Partner with project teams and leaders to assess current operating models and design future-state structures.
- Translate process mapping into practical, data-driven operating models and workforce plans.
- Conduct capacity planning, workforce analysis, and role design to support efficient, tool-enabled operations.
- Advise on change adoption, reskilling, and workforce transitions while maintaining service continuity.
- Deliver actionable artefacts such as operating model blueprints, workforce planning reports, and role structures.
- Influence stakeholders to adopt global best practice approaches and embed new ways of working.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in organisational design, change management, and business transformation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret workforce metrics and organisational data for evidence-based decisions.
- Ability to develop and facilitate practical frameworks, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborative and credible, with experience influencing executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in consulting or private sector environments with knowledge of global best practices.
- Flexible and resilient, able to operate strategically and hands-on in a standalone role.
