Davidson is working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Manager to support a portfolio of transformational initiatives across the department.
About the Role/s
As Organisational Change Manager, reporting to the Program Director, you will lead and deliver end-to-end change management strategies to support successful adoption of key programs and initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to embed sustainable change, minimise disruption, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies, plans and frameworks aligned to program objectives.
- Undertake change impact assessments to identify risks, dependencies and stakeholder impacts across business units.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all levels of the organisation.
- Design and deliver communication strategies, artefacts and messaging to support awareness, understanding and adoption of change initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to build change capability, coach stakeholders and support leadership in driving change outcomes.
- Develop and implement training strategies and plans to support capability uplift and transition to new ways of working.
- Monitor and report on change readiness, adoption metrics and benefits realisation, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to capture insights and continuously improve change approaches.
- Work collaboratively with program and project teams to integrate change management activities into overall delivery plans.
- Support the development of governance artefacts and ensure alignment with organisational policies, frameworks and reporting requirements.
- Identify and manage change-related risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation where required.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in delivering organisational change management within complex environments, preferably in government or large organisations.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR or similar).
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and drive behavioural change.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in delivering change across digital, process or cultural transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess impacts and measure change effectiveness.
- Relevant qualifications in change management, business, psychology or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
