The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is a well-established not-for-profit organisation with a strong history of supporting Victorian communities since 1978. The Centre delivers integrated specialist services across crisis response, early intervention, therapeutic support, education and prevention for individuals and families impacted by sexual and family violence. Operating across the Barwon, Wimmera and South West Victorian regions, the SAFV Centre works in partnership with communities and service systems to provide accessible, coordinated and trauma-informed support. The organisation also delivers the Victims Assistance Program across Barwon and the South West region, supporting victims of crime more broadly. With a strong commitment to recovery, safety, inclusion and prevention, the SAFV Centre plays a vital role in supporting individuals while working to promote gender equality and prevent violence.

The Operations Manager, Trauma Recovery Services is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of therapeutic services across the organisation. Leading the Therapeutics portfolio, you will ensure the delivery of safe, trauma informed, gender-responsive and evidence based services that support recovery for individuals impacted by sexual and family violence. Reporting to the Director Complex Care, you will oversee day to day operations, practice governance, workforce capability and service performance across a multidisciplinary team structure. The role is focused on maintaining high standards of clinical practice, strengthening service integration and ensuring responsive, high-quality care in an increasingly complex service environment. You will provide leadership to Team Leaders, Senior Trauma Clinical Specialists and key practice roles, fostering a high performing and reflective practice culture. The role also plays a key part in stakeholder engagement, system collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring services remain aligned to best practice and organisational priorities. This is a key opportunity to lead and shape a critical service stream, supporting strong clinical governance and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients and communities.

You are an experienced senior leader with a strong background in therapeutic or community services and demonstrated capability to manage complex service delivery environments. You bring sound knowledge of sexual assault and family violence practice, including trauma informed and evidence-based approaches. A capable and values-driven leader, you build and support high-performing teams, provide guidance on complex clinical matters and drive continuous improvement. You are confident balancing operational leadership with strategic priorities and bring strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You are highly organised, resilient and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to navigate complexity and support workforce wellbeing. Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline, you are committed to delivering safe, inclusive and high quality services aligned to best practice and organisational values.
