Reporting to the Manager of Field Services, the Operations Coordinator will oversee the delivery of key service areas including Horticulture, Cemetery Operations, Plant and Fleet Management, Depot Services, and Civil Works. You will lead diverse teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient operations, while driving cross-departmental coordination, strategic planning, budget management, and continuous service improvement. As a strong leader, you will use sound judgment, and the ability to make strategic decisions with long-term impact. A focus on workplace safety, staff development, and stakeholder engagement is essential, along with the physical capacity to work in both office and field environments.
To be considered for this role, you will have a proven ability to lead diverse teams, with strengths in performance management, recruitment, and staff development. You have extensive experience managing business units, with strong skills in budgeting, planning, and contract management. A solid understanding of OHS and risk management, along with proficiency in business-related IT systems, is essential. Your strong communication skills support your ability to engage and motivate teams. Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally at postgraduate level, are supported by significant experience in a related field.
