About the Company

Davidson Technology are working with a Large State Government Department to secure a highly skilled .Net Developer to work on a crucial piece of work to assist in safeguarding the state. The initial contract will be until 28 ^th June 23025 with the possibility for further extensions.



About the Role

As the .Net Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing features within the .NET Framework, leveraging strong proficiency in C# for backend development and Angular 10 for building dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best practices and modern development standards. By integrating robust server-side logic with intuitive client-side interfaces, you will deliver secure, efficient, and high-performing applications that meet user and departmental needs.



About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll possess over seven years of commercial expertise in .NET Framework 4+, C#, and modern web development, including Angular 10+, Entity Framework, and SQL Server/T-SQL. You’ll be highly skilled in delivering robust, testable, and high-quality solutions, bringing strong capability in mobile web, PWA development, and spatial technologies such as Esri ArcGIS, ArcMap, Leaflet, and GeoJson. You’ll be proficient in Git branching models, agile practices, and tools like JIRA and Confluence, and excel at investigating and resolving technical issues, often working directly with clients to ensure rapid resolution and business satisfaction. You will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms and have proven experience supporting large IT projects, government organisations, and complex business change initiatives, including performance tuning and application optimisation.



The Benefits

You will be offered a contract through to 28 ^th June 2026 (possible extension) on an excellent hourly rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment
