Lead the digital growth strategy for a diverse consumer brands portfolio
An established and growing consumer products organisation is seeking a commercially driven National Business Manager to lead its e-commerce strategy across Petcare and Food & Beverage.
Based between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this senior role will take ownership of digital revenue, profitability, market share and brand performance across pure-play e-commerce, omnichannel retailers, marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels.
You will shape the organisation’s digital growth agenda, build strong relationships with major online customers and lead best-in-class execution across digital shelf, media, pricing, promotions, content and conversion.
This is an opportunity for an experienced FMCG e-commerce leader to influence strategy, build capability and deliver meaningful growth across a portfolio of established consumer brands.
The opportunity
You will lead the end-to-end commercial strategy for online channels, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Category, Insights, Finance, Supply Chain, Revenue Growth Management and Operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing the e-commerce strategy across Petcare and Food & Beverage.
- Identifying growth opportunities across pure-play, omnichannel, marketplace and direct-to-consumer channels.
- Building channel-specific plans based on shopper behaviour, category trends and retailer requirements.
- Leading annual planning, channel segmentation and long-term digital growth strategies.
- Owning senior relationships with major e-commerce customers and online retail partners.
- Leading digital joint business planning to deliver mutual growth and category expansion.
- Negotiating trading terms, digital media investment and strategic commercial initiatives.
- Driving new product launches, online ranging, pricing and promotional execution.
About you
You will be a strategic, commercially astute and action-oriented e-commerce leader with deep experience across FMCG or high-velocity consumer categories.
You will ideally bring:
- Extensive experience in FMCG e-commerce, digital sales or omnichannel leadership.
- Demonstrated success managing major e-commerce customers, marketplaces and omnichannel retailers.
- Experience working with platforms such as Amazon and other major online retail channels.
- Strong P&L ownership and commercial management capability.
- Experience leading digital joint business plans, trading negotiations and customer growth strategies.
- Experience analysing sales, traffic, media return, customer profitability and category performance.
- Experience operating in high-growth, transformation or capability-building environments.
- Strong leadership, influencing, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- A cooperative and accountable approach, with the confidence to operate across senior internal and external stakeholders.
Experience within Petcare, Food & Beverage or broader consumer products would be highly regarded.
A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline is required.
