Davidson Technology are working with a State Government Agency to secure an experienced Manager, Infrastructure and Planning on an initial 6-month contract with the option of 2 x 6-month extensions.


About the Role

As the Manager, Infrastructure and Planning, you’ll provide strategic leadership and oversight of a high-performing team responsible for infrastructure planning, financial modelling, and infrastructure charging. You’ll ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality analytical outcomes, drive the development and governance of complex cost recovery and infrastructure funding models, and provide expert advice on infrastructure charging policy and offset administration. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, including the integration of GIS and spatial analysis into planning and financial processes, while ensuring strong governance, stakeholder confidence, and effective management of multiple complex work streams to support informed strategic decision-making.


About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced leader with a strong background in infrastructure planning, financial modelling, and strategic analysis within a complex government or regulated environment. You will have demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams, overseeing complex analytical and financial modelling frameworks, and providing expert advice on infrastructure charging, cost recovery, and governance. You’ll possess highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and planning information into strategic recommendations that inform decision-making. Experience integrating GIS and spatial analysis into planning and financial processes, coupled with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, will be essential to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes and drive continuous improvement across the function.


The Benefits

You will be offered a 6-month contract with the option of 2 x 6-month extensions on an excellent hourly rate, paid weekly in arrears.
