About the Company

Davidson is partnering with a Government client who is undertaking a major multi-year investment, committed to enhancing the safety, performance, and efficiency of its infrastructure. As part of this transformation, the Contractor Management Improvement (CMI) Program has been established to improve contractor management practices across building, construction, and maintenance services.


About the Role

This newly created Program Manager role sits within the embedded CMI Program team and will be instrumental in driving business improvement and contractor management reform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading analysis of current contractor management practices to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for reform.
  • Supporting the design of a future model that strengthens safety, performance, and risk management.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to shape and implement practical reforms.
  • Providing expert advice to executives and delivery partners through workshops, briefings, and targeted engagement.
  • Monitoring program progress and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement through feedback and metrics.
  • Building strong relationships across the Infrastructure Services Division and broader organisation to support project delivery.
  • Communicating complex ideas and technical requirements clearly to diverse audiences.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • A hands-on, solution-oriented professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • An excellent communicator with high attention to detail and strong presentation, written, and verbal skills.
  • Skilled in decision-making, prioritisation, and managing competing demands.
  • Experienced in driving practical change and delivering results.
  • A collaborative team player who can manage through influence.
  • A strong problem solver with the ability to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and stakeholder management.

Highly Regarded Experience:

  • Government infrastructure delivery
  • Business improvement or transformation
  • Working in complex organisations and/or the public sector
  • Infrastructure contract management or procurement
  • Risk and safety management in infrastructure


The Benefits

  • $92.88 per hour + Super
  • Contract through to June 2026
  • Brisbane CBD location
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
