About the Company

Davidson Technology are supporting Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) to secure a Manager, Analytics who will be responsible for working collaboratively with key stakeholders and external partners to design, develop and deliver data and analytics projects and services that assist decision makers to reduce major crime and corruption in Queensland. In this role, you’ll be leading delivery of transformational change and build the CCC’s strategic data assets.




About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Data and Analytics and managing a team of 5–7 direct reports, you will drive transformational change through the development of strategic data assets and cutting-edge analytics initiatives. You’ll utilise your strong technical and project management skills, expertise in advanced data science techniques, to co-design data solutions with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will play a critical role in fostering an insights-driven culture, championing the use of AI/ML, and building capability across the CCC.




About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring extensive experience in data-intensive environments, with a strong track record in designing and delivering high-quality data and analytics solutions. You’ll possess advanced technical skills across platforms such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, SAS, and Python, and have hands-on experience with cloud analytics platforms like Azure Synapse, Data Factory, AWS Glue, and Redshift. With proven expertise in managing data warehouses and leading high-performing technical teams, you’ll provide both strategic direction and practical guidance. Strong agile project management capabilities, analytical writing, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are key to your success in driving data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.




The Benefits

You will be offered a 5-year Fixed Term contract (possible extension), and excellent remuneration with a base salary of $142,759 to $150,873 plus 12.95% superannuation. You will also benefit from a hybrid working arrangement offering 3 days per week from the office and 2 days from home as agreed with management.
