About the Company
Davidson is proud to be partnering with Iberdrola Australia on the VNI West Project - a nationally significant transmission project supporting Australia’s clean energy transition.
Backed by one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, VNI West will play a critical role in strengthening the national electricity grid while delivering meaningful economic and employment outcomes for regional communities across western Victoria.
As the project progresses, we are now seeking an experienced Local Industry Liaison to join the VNI West team. This role is integral to ensuring local businesses, suppliers and workers are positioned to participate in and benefit from the project.

- Collaborating with training providers, industry associations and vocational education organisations to support upskilling initiatives
- Partnering with Traditional Owner engagement teams to maximise First Nations business, industry and workforce participation
- Developing and implementing local content strategies aligned with government policy and project objectives
- Monitoring, reporting and improving local content performance and compliance
What you’ll bring
- Experience in local industry engagement, economic development, procurement or supply chain management
- Demonstrated experience building strong stakeholder relationships across regional communities
- Exposure to infrastructure, energy, government or major project environments
- Strong understanding of local content frameworks, supplier engagement or regional economic development
- Ability to communicate confidently with businesses, community stakeholders and senior project teams
- Experience working collaboratively across procurement, stakeholder engagement and project delivery teams

Why join
