Through a commitment to clinical excellence, people development and exceptional patient care, NDC continues to invest in leadership capability, workforce development and learning innovation to support sustainable growth and long-term success.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this role is responsible for leading the organisation’s learning and development strategy to build workforce capability, strengthen leadership and support business growth. As Learning & Development Manager, you will design and deliver enterprise-wide learning programs, establish capability frameworks and career pathways, and embed succession planning practices that support performance, engagement and retention. Working across both non-clinical and clinical teams, you will partner closely with leaders to identify capability needs, deliver practical learning solutions and ensure development initiatives align to strategic priorities and compliance requirements. You will personally facilitate programs, develop learning content and resources, coach leaders, support learning technology optimisation and lead the rollout of digital and blended learning solutions. This is a hands-on senior leadership role, combining strategic planning with operational delivery.
To be successful in this role you must be an experienced, credible Learning & Development leader with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and strong commercial awareness, with proven experience operating in large, complex, multi-site environments such as healthcare, hospitality or similarly distributed networks. You will bring demonstrated success designing and delivering enterprise-wide learning and leadership programs, with the ability to translate strategy into practical, high-impact solutions. Importantly, you are comfortable facilitating workshops, developing content and partnering directly with leaders to drive capability outcomes. Leading two direct reports, you will bring a supportive, collaborative and clear leadership style that inspires a culture of accountability and ownership. You will also bring a contemporary approach to learning, strong experience leveraging learning technologies and data insights, and a passion for developing people and driving organisational performance.
