The Opportunity
This is a senior contract opportunity for an experienced Lead Systems Analyst to join a large-scale enterprise environment delivering critical SAP capability across finance, HR/payroll, and platform administration. Working at a strategic and technical leadership level, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influence system direction, lead change, and drive improvements across a complex SAP landscape.
This opportunity will consider applicants in Brisbane (preference), Canberra or Melbourne. If successful you will be required to be in office, 5 days a week for the first 6 weeks, then it will change to Hybrid with 3 days per week in office.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide senior technical leadership across SAP systems, translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions aligned to broader architecture and business strategy.
- Lead SAP system changes, enhancements, upgrades, and technical improvements
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans
- Provide oversight of system quality, technical documentation, and testing outcomes
- Support complex SAP issues across finance, HR/payroll, and broader platform environments
- Contribute to technical design, system planning, performance tuning, and change analysis
- Mentor team members, support capability uplift, and drive continuous improvement
About You
You are a senior SAP specialist with strong judgement, proven leadership capability, and the ability to operate independently in a complex enterprise setting.
- Deep experience in one or more areas: SAP FI, SAP HR/Payroll, or SAP Basis Administration
- Strong background delivering SAP enhancements, configuration, support, and technical change
- Ability to provide effort estimates, review requirements, and produce clear technical documentation
- Experience leading testing, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and production releases
- Confident working with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver outcomes
- Must be an Australian Citizen & willing/eligible to obtain Baseline security clearance
