Davidson Technology are working with a large Federal Government Agency to secure 2 x Lead Dynamics Application Architects to commence on an initial 12-month contract with the possibility of further extensions.



About the Role

As the Lead Dynamics Applications Architect, you’ll provide strategic technical leadership to a multi-year program delivering a new case management platform on D365 Customer Service, replacing a suite of legacy systems. Reporting to the Program Director, you’ll ensure solution designs align with the overarching architecture vision, development model, and integration requirements, while working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams. With expertise in C#, JavaScript, and Dynamics 365 customisation, you’ll design and implement plugins, workflows, entities, dashboards, and business process flows, while also integrating Dynamics with external systems via APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and other tools. You will leverage Power BI for reporting, SQL Server for data operations, and Azure DevOps or GitHub for deployment and version control, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Additionally, you’ll oversee security models, apply UX principles to enhance user experience, and use tools like XrmToolBox to support development and troubleshooting, enabling the agency to achieve a modern, efficient, and integrated case management capability.



About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a highly skilled technical leader with deep expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 solutions across modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations. Proficient in C#, JavaScript, and Dataverse (CDS), you’ll develop and customise plugins, workflows, entities, forms, dashboards, and business process flows while ensuring seamless integrations with external systems through APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and custom solutions. With advanced knowledge of PowerApps, Power BI, and SQL Server, you will extend Dynamics capabilities, deliver insightful reporting, and manage complex data operations. Your experience will span deployment strategies, environment management, and version control with Azure DevOps and GitHub, as well as security role management and application of Zero Trust architecture principles. You’ll be skilled in UX design, Azure services, and enterprise-level security frameworks, ensuring solutions are robust, secure, and user-centric, while leveraging tools like XrmToolBox to optimise performance and troubleshoot effectively.

The Benefits

You will be offered a 12-month contract (possible extension) on an excellent daily rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment.
