About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to drive the design and delivery of robust automation frameworks supporting front-end banking applications.

In this role, you will be a key member of a high-performing delivery team, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. You will provide hands-on expertise in building and evolving automation solutions, while championing best practices in Quality Engineering, including shift-left testing and continuous integration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, fully automated QE frameworks
  • Driving adoption of Agile-based quality engineering practices across teams
  • Collaborating with platform teams and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality products
  • Embedding testing, performance, and quality from early development stages
  • Continuously evaluating and improving automation tools and frameworks
  • Upskilling teams to enable self-service automation capabilities

About You

  • 10+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering
  • Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript
  • Experience with Node-based automation frameworks
  • Solid API testing experience using RestAssured and strong JSON knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot microservices and Gradle-based builds
  • Experience working in Agile environments with modern test management tools
  • Strong understanding of test layering (component, integration, end-to-end)

Nice to have:

  • Banking or financial services experience (highly regarded)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and tools like Playwright
