The Role
As an IT/OT Project Manager, you will be responsible for bridging business and technology teams to support the successful delivery of digital utility projects.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Project managing multiple DERMS projects in accordance with statement of work/work orders
- Supporting the rollout of metering, telemetry, and grid applications such as AMI, DERMS, or ADMS
- Facilitating workshops and engaging with technical and operational stakeholders across the business
- Creating and managing project Statements of Work and Work Orders, including project plans, milestones, deliverables, pricing, and risk assessments.
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver customer projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Overseeing quality assurance processes in collaboration with technical governance leads.
- Preparing weekly customer reports aligned with project agreements.
- Completing internal project reporting as required by organizational standards.
- Collaborating with broader reform programs to optimize resources, delivery approaches, and outcomes for both the customer and organization.
About you
In order to be a successful applicant, you will bring extensive experience in project management within utilities or industrial sectors (electricity, gas, water, or mining), with a strong focus on IT/OT integration.
You will also have:
- Experience working on smart metering, grid automation, or industrial IoT projects
- Familiarity with platforms such as AMI, ADMS, DERMS, or similar utility-grade solutions
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and translating business needs into system requirements
- Knowledge of operational technology environments and their application in field-based utility services
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working across geographically dispersed teams
