About the Role
This contract role is for an experienced IT Training Specialist to spearhead end-to-end training strategy and delivery for the implementation of two integrated systems. You'll work closely with internal IT change teams, project leads, and SMEs to scope, design and deliver fit-for-purpose training across a diverse user base, including employees, subcontractors, and external partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement a training strategy aligned with program timelines and change impacts
  • Develop engaging training materials including user guides, e-learning modules, and short instructional videos
  • Plan and coordinate end-user training sessions, including facilitated delivery with subject matter experts
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to tailor content by role, capability, and system interaction
  • Collaborate with business SMEs, project stakeholders and the IT change team to ensure materials meet user needs
  • Ensure training is scalable and can be embedded in BAU processes and systems (e.g. LMS)
  • Manage training logistics including scheduling, communications, and materials rollout
  • Embed training and support assets into existing platforms and digital learning hubs
  • Provide input into business readiness and change reporting activities
  • Maintain detailed documentation aligned to project governance and audit standards

About You
You're a hands-on training specialist with:

  • Proven experience in systems training, learning & development, or IT change enablement
  • Demonstrated experience leading training for large-scale system rollouts, ideally Quality Management Systems
  • Strong capability in developing engaging training materials across multiple modalities (guides, e-learnings, videos, LMS integration)
  • Proficiency with Camtasia, Articulate (Rise360), and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent experience)
  • Industry experience in utilities, construction, transport or logistics is preferred
  • Experience with Hexagon Smart Completions and/or RIBcx would be a significant advantage
