Our Client:
A government organisation providing Microsoft endpoint and M365 tenant management services across the public sector.

The role:
Join a modern workplace team as a Desktop Specialist to lead delivery of high-availability desktop environments supporting critical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support for Microsoft products, Azure, and O365
  • Manage system admin services aligned to service levels
  • Contribute to onboarding, architectural planning, and innovation projects
  • Mentor junior staff and support their technical growth
  • Engage in RFIs/RFPs and pre-sales demos/workshops
  • Maintain system documentation and participate in process improvement

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong MECM experience (OS deployment, app packaging, updates)
  • Active Directory & Group Policy expertise
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, VDI support, and Omnissa Horizon
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITSM/ITIL frameworks
  • Desirable: PowerShell scripting, M365 admin, and Windows Server skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving ability
