Our Client:
A government organisation providing Microsoft endpoint and M365 tenant management services across the public sector.
The role:
Join a modern workplace team as a Desktop Specialist to lead delivery of high-availability desktop environments supporting critical services.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support for Microsoft products, Azure, and O365
- Manage system admin services aligned to service levels
- Contribute to onboarding, architectural planning, and innovation projects
- Mentor junior staff and support their technical growth
- Engage in RFIs/RFPs and pre-sales demos/workshops
- Maintain system documentation and participate in process improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Strong MECM experience (OS deployment, app packaging, updates)
- Active Directory & Group Policy expertise
- Experience with Windows 10/11, VDI support, and Omnissa Horizon
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITSM/ITIL frameworks
- Desirable: PowerShell scripting, M365 admin, and Windows Server skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving ability
