- Initial contract supporting an architecture uplift
- Hands-on process redesign + operating model improvement
We are supporting an architecture function undertaking a significant AI ways of working uplift and are seeking a senior consultant to redesign how work flows through the team.
This role focuses on identifying where time and effort are being lost and implementing practical improvements that increase throughput, clarity and decision support across the architecture lifecycle.
Given the role sits within an architecture team and supports AI ways of working, candidates will need both strong transformation capability and relevant domain context to engage credibly and support ongoing work.
What you’ll do
- Analyse current architecture workflows across intake, triage, prioritisation and governance.
- Run diagnostics (e.g. process mapping, time-and-motion analysis) to identify inefficiencies.
- Design future-state ways of working that are practical, implementable, and measurable
- Support AI ways of working and accelerator-aligned processes.
- Improve how work is assessed, prioritised and progressed.
- Translate findings into practical, implementable improvements.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in process redesign, service improvement or operating model uplift.
- Strong diagnostic capability (process mapping, stakeholder engagement, analysis).
- Ability to translate insights into pragmatic, workable changes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in or alongside architecture or technology teams.
- Foundation knowledge of enterprise/solution architecture.
- Insurance domain knowledge (PAS, claims, CRM/CX, data, integration).
- Understanding of insurance modernisation and AI automation.
