A leading integrated community-advancement firm is seeking a hands-on and service-oriented IT Manager to oversee and elevate its technology environment. This Brisbane-based role is ideal for a seasoned Systems Administrator or IT generalist ready to take ownership of both operational support and strategic technology projects.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is approximately 90% operational and will see you managing IT for around 250 staff (60 direct end-users), including hardware provisioning, IT support, systems security, and vendor management. You’ll work closely with a developer and you'll be the go-to person for the entire IT related enviornment at the organisation. A strong Microsoft environment underpins the organisation’s tech stack, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint.
Key upcoming projects include evaluating and implementing a new platform (final selection underway) and planning for an office relocation. You’ll be expected to deliver a 100-day plan within your first week, providing practical, forward-thinking solutions in a dynamic, values-driven environment.
What You’ll Do

Be the primary point of contact for all IT matters across the organisation

Lead and deliver internal IT projects from platform rollouts to office moves

Provide end-to-end IT support and systems administration

Maintain high standards of data security, privacy, and compliance

Manage cloud environments, ticketing systems, and helpdesk support

Build and deliver internal IT training for staff

Contribute to innovation and system improvements that support frontline services
What We’re Looking For
-
5+ years’ experience in a IT Manager role or Senior systems administrator position
-
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, networking, and cloud
-
Proven ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
-
Experience delivering IT projects and supporting change management
-
High integrity, strong communication skills, and a people-first mindset
-
Experience in the community or not-for-profit sector is advantageous
The Offer

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + super(negotiable for the right person)

Fully onsite role in Brisbane (quieter office on Wednesdays, which could be negotiate as a WFH day)
