About the Role
In this contract role, you will embed in a lean tiger team under Technology Enablement, aligned to an Enterprise Security Uplift Program, to review designs early and drive evidence readiness for accreditation.
- Deliver IRAP-style design review findings and remediation recommendations per workstream (10 to 12 weeks)
- Produce an evidence readiness checklist aligned to the ATO plan: gaps, owners, and timelines
- Conduct targeted reviews during options and costed design phases to reduce late rework
- Validate Protected boundary controls and approaches for systems spanning boundaries
- Advise on control duplication and separation patterns (e.g., Protected platform instance separation)
- Support governance-ready uplift planning inputs (design assurance and evidence direction)
About You
You are an IRAP assessor who can operate pragmatically, spot gaps early, and translate security requirements into delivery-ready actions that stand up to Protected accreditation scrutiny.
- Active NV1 security clearance (mandatory- this role cannot sponsor those wishing to obtain NV1)
- Demonstrated IRAP delivery experience in Protected environments
- Strong understanding of boundary controls and Protected data boundary concepts
- Confident writing actionable findings, prioritised remediation, and evidence requirements
- Comfortable working in lean teams with tight milestones and multiple workstreams
- Practical, outcomes-focused approach that reduces accreditation risk and late failures
