Integration Engineer (Azure)
Melbourne | 6 - month rolling contract
We’re working with a large enterprise organisation currently investing heavily in cloud and integration capability. They’re looking for an experienced Integration Engineer
to deliver scalable, secure solutions across a complex environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work across both technical delivery and stakeholder engagement.
The Role
- Gather and translate integration requirements through workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Design and build integration solutions using Azure (Logic Apps, APIM, Service Bus, Functions)
- Implement DevOps practices across build and deployment pipelines
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy and enterprise standards
- Produce and maintain interface documentation
- Conduct testing to ensure performance, reliability and data integrity
- Work closely with project teams to deliver within agreed scope and timelines
About You
Key experience:
- Enterprise integration design, development and analysis experience
- Strong Azure integration experience (Logic Apps, APIM, Service Bus, Azure AD)
- Solid understanding of integration patterns and API design
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in REST/JSON and SOAP/XML
- Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
- Coding experience in C#, PowerShell and SQL
Stakeholder skills:
- Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences
- Able to work independently in complex environments
- Confident translating business needs into technical solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience across the broader Microsoft / Azure stack
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub, ARM/Bicep
- Experience integrating with platforms like Workday, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow or Maximo
- Experience with automated testing (TDD/BDD)
