Working within a supportive and committed team, you will partner closely with leaders across the business to provide practical, commercially focused industrial and employee relations advice in a complex, unionised environment.
Reporting into a collaborative People & Culture function, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s industrial relations strategy while helping leaders navigate workplace matters with confidence and consistency.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with operational leaders to deliver proactive industrial relations outcomes
- Providing timely and accurate advice across employment and workplace relations matters
- Supporting complex case management and workplace investigations
- Interpreting and applying enterprise agreements and industrial instruments
- Drafting policies, correspondence, agreements, and employment-related documentation
- Supporting enterprise bargaining activities from preparation through to implementation
- Building effective working relationships with unions and key stakeholders
- Assisting with dispute resolution and tribunal matters
- Monitoring legislative developments and ensuring ongoing compliance
- Managing workplace relations reporting and documentation processes
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in industrial and employee relations within a complex or unionised environment
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Experience interpreting enterprise agreements and industrial instruments
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Strong written communication and drafting skills
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
