Senior Technical Specialist – IDAM

12 month contract opportunity

Location: Geelong (3 days in office, 2 days remote)




We’re seeking a Senior Technical Specialist with deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IDAM) to join a program delivery team. This role involves technical leadership, hands-on solution delivery, and the development of documentation to support and maintain critical applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead design and delivery of identity and access management solutions across internal and third-party systems.

· Apply best practices in IDAM including RBAC, MFA, conditional access, and privileged access management.

· Support system integration, resolve production issues, and contribute to system architecture and documentation.

· Participate in scoping workshops, estimate effort for IDAM deliverables, and ensure alignment with control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).

· Engage in peer reviews, troubleshoot incidents, and support transition to BAU operations.

About You:

· Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in relevant fields.

· Strong hands-on experience with NetIQ, One Identity, Okta, Azure AD/Entra.

· Proficiency in PowerShell, LDIF, and user provisioning processes.

· Familiar with PAM tools like CyberArk or Entra PIM.

· Clear communicator with strong teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Understanding of ITIL principles is advantageous.
